OBJECTIVE

Boiler is a machine defined clearly in the Factory and Machinery Act 1967. The machine plays critical roles in palm oil sector as well as oil, gas and energy sectors. The machine also makes little contribution in the healthcare and tourism sectors especially in big hospitals and hotels that use it. Those four aforementioned sectors are within 12-sector of National Key Economic Areas. Boiler calls for Skilled and Competent Persons to be operated and maintained. Based on our study of the demand on these persons within sectors that use boiler; we imperatively discovered that the nation is currently suffers demand deficit whereas the demand for new skilled and competent persons are kept increasing while the means of producing them are quite slow. That is why this Executive Diploma in Boiler Operation and Maintenance Programmes was tailored to reduce that demand deficit. Participants of this programme will be trained under realistic situation which is identical to that of industry’s in boiler operation and maintenance. Participants will be exposed to boiler-associated regulations, safety, operation and maintenance elements. The said four main elements are embedded throughout 13 core and elective subjects that we have prepared. Through direct exposure from our exceptional Industrial Experts trainers, those participants who are successfully completed the programme will be ready to participate in the competency examination conducted by Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) in becoming Boilermen.
