OBJECTIVE

At the end of the course, participants are expected to be able to:
1. Understand principle operation of electric motor.
2. Know related devices to electric motor.
3. Understand frequent motor problems and how it happens.
4. Test and troubleshoot motor problems.

 
METHODOLOGY
  • Apart from trainer presentation, this training course will be delivered by the concept of learn-by-doing. Participants will gain their experiences on practical activities that they have to carry out during the training.
  • LEARNING OUTCOME
  • Industrial Motor Control Fundamental is an activity that covers the competency requirements for the installation of motor control based on specification and procedures in accordance with Electrical Act 1990, Electrical Regulation 1994 and other related rules and regulations body and statutory requirements. The personnel who are competent in motor control must be able to interpret installation manuals and procedures, carry out motor control installation, inspect motor control functionality and to conduct continuity, polarity, insulation resistance and earthing resistance testing.
